This week on Digital Music Trends I chat with Vickie Nauman – former President of 7Digital in North America and now at CrossBorderWorks consulting – about her experience at Music Matters in Singapore, the independent music organisations lashing out against YouTube, the so-almost-closed deal between Apple and Beats (which closed a few hours after our recording), the launch of Next Big Book, Audiam moving beyond YouTube, the new real-time Billboard charts powered by Twitter.

In the show I also interview the CEO of LyricFind Darryl Ballantyne on the company’s recent deal with UMPG and its partnership with BandPage.

Finally we also mention the new app Tunepics and the release of Dejay 2 for iPad and iOS with Spotify integration.

I really hope you enjoy the show, have a fantastic week and ’till next time!
