This week on Digital Music Trends it was a pleasure to welcome Jeff Price (Audiam) and J Herskowitz (Tomahawk, Hatchet).

We kick off by chatting about SoundCloud’s announcement: the company unveiled the first step in its new monetisation strategy (“On Soundcloud”) which involves brand advertising and launched a Premier Partner program for a selected number of artists.

We also discuss Medium’s upcoming music magazine, I show off the Gramofon box, and finally we cover Denmark’s latest recorded music revenues figures and the UK’s music video age rating test.

During the show Jeff brings us up to speed on the latest at Audiam and J on latest at Tomahawk.
